Why Does God Want You Blessed?

God loves His people through other people. He uses you and I to help those in need, to bless them. Genesis 12:2 ..."I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing"

The Lord who is rich in mercy meets and exceeds all our needs. Philippians 4:19 says "my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus".

Did you know that God has many names?  One of His names is El Shaddai, which means "Provider".  Many years ago I remember we received a $100 in the mail.  We had no idea who sent it, but I can tell you we needed it. Someone gave to us out of there abundance.

Why does God want you blessed? So that you can be a blessing. Trust Him for more than enough.

Is There a Heaven?

Recently a renowned physicist declared with certainly that heaven does not exist. How sad. This person's body has a motor neurone disease that is related to amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a condition that has progressed over the years and has left him almost completely paralysed. Yet he refuses to repent and turn to God to be healed and saved. He would rather stay sick and die. What good is what you believe if it doesn't produce any hope? You can be the most brilliant scientist on the face of the earth, yet the bible says:
Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, there is no God...  there is none that does good.
To not even consider the possibility that God loves you and wants you well is insanity. Stephen Hawkins believes that this life is the only thing that we have and that we should do the best we can. The bible says that there is none that does good and that everyone of us will have to give an account of our lives to the Judge of all the earth. You decide which one makes more sense. If in this life only we have hope, we are a poor and miserable people. But thanks to God through our Lord Jesus Christ whom God raised from the dead, we do have hope. I pray that Mr. Hawkins wakes up, comes to his senses and escapes this snare of the devil, that he repents and receive the salvation of Jesus Christ. There is a heaven to gain and a hell to shun. We choose the path we take. God the Father paid a high price by giving us his Son. What is your response to the grace of God?
God bless,
Pastor David

Fear Not! Faint Not!

Fear is a terrible, gripping, paralyzing thing and can keep you from YOUR destiny. Satan brings fear to torment you; through wars, rumors of wars, the doctor’s report, lack, failure, the list  goes on.  He has to bring it because our born again  spirit  doesn’t have it.  When these things come you have to say “No Fear here” devil.

You can agree we are living in difficult times. Job losses, foreclosures, divorce at an all time high, high cost of living, etc.  Through it all we have the victory – NO FEAR HERE!

Answer - 2 Tim 1:7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. – NOT FROM GOD

Where the Will of God is Known There is Peace

The New Year, offers a great opportunity for us to make life adjustments that can be great. We need to ask ourselves “Am I in God’s Will”, if not “What is God’s Will for Me in This New Year”? It is a good thing to be in the perfect will of God, not going our own way doing our thing. It is better to be where God wants us to be and doing what He wants us to do. Grasp this simple truth your life will change forever to the glory of God. If anyone has ears to hear let him hear.

We must have that resolve according to Matthew 6:10 …Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven

It’s a peaceful place to be in the will of God. Peace is that state of tranquil existence, wholeness, completeness, and total rest. Some of you have not done what God has directed you to do, and you can honestly say you have no peace.  Peace comes only when the will of God is known and acted upon. It is so important that we find out what His will is for our life.  We can study His word to find out how He wants us to live our lives but, His specific plan for your (family, relationships, ministry, finances, etc.) can only be discovered as you spend that quality time in intimate fellowship with Him.  He will direct you, give you wisdom and provide the strength you need. You’ll have the peace that comes only from knowing that you are in the will of God.  I want to let you know in advance that what He wants you to do may not always seem to make sense, but do it anyway knowing that He loves you and is looking at the big picture for your life.

Proverbs  3:5 tells us to Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding.

As we receive wisdom we are to obey.  More over it says in Deut 13:4 "You shall walk after the LORD your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice, and you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. That is to say, in reverential honor, hear and obey. God has a purpose and destiny that He wants to fulfill in our life and when we walk in it there is peace. Thank you Lord!

If you need prayer concerning direction, wisdom, the will of God for your life send us your request we want to agree with you in prayer.

The Good Report

Now is not the time to panic or be anxious about anything. But rather have faith in the power of prayer. Philippians 4:6 tells us to be anxious for nothing, but bring the situation to God in prayer. As we pray there is the peace of God which passes all understanding.  Not as the world gives. God gives us peace that guards our heart and mind, and we need His peace. Verse 8 ultimately says to meditate on the good report.  Meditate on your victory. No worries only faith.
